Students will learn about a variety of key events, important individuals, and major themes in United States history. Because of the short time period available, the class will not be a comprehensive overview, but every attempt will be made to include areas of special interest to students who enroll. The goal of the class is to add to students' knowledge of US history in a fun and relaxed atmosphere and to encourage students to dig deeper into this subject area in the future.

Newcomers and veterans equally encouraged to attend. Model United Nations (MUN) is a prestigious club that empowers students through public speaking and debating skills. Students are able to tackle world issues and propose realistic solutions in an open and fun environment where they question and understand the political dynamics of the world we share.

The magazine accepts short stories, poems, literary essays, and other various forms of creative writing from classroom projects and assignments as well as personal. Additionally, the magazine accepts art submissions. Students will exercise their creative, collaborative and leadership abilities supporting the various aspects of creating a literary magazine such as refining selection criteria, promoting and soliciting for submissions, reviewing and editing submissions, designing, publishing and distributing.
